Terms of use

1. Scope and acceptance

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of TimerChrono (timerchrono.com). By browsing or using the tools, you accept these terms. They may be updated at any time; the applicable version is the one published online at the time of your visit.

2. Services

TimerChrono provides browser-based timing tools (countdowns, stopwatches, interval timers, etc.). Guidance text and suggested presets are indicative and may change. The publisher does not warrant completeness or error-free operation; any important decision based on site content remains your sole responsibility.

3. Availability

The site is intended to be available continuously. Interruptions may occur (maintenance, updates, force majeure, hosting failures). The publisher will endeavour to notify users in advance when reasonably possible.

4. Technical requirements

The tools rely on modern web technologies (including JavaScript). You should use an up-to-date browser and equipment free of known malware. The publisher is not liable for damage related to unsuitable configuration or misuse.

5. User conduct

Any fraudulent, abusive or third-party rights-infringing use is prohibited. Messages sent via the contact form must not be unlawful (including defamatory, discriminatory, hateful, or infringing content). The publisher may refuse to respond and discard abusive requests.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Simon JANVIER shall not be liable for:

  • service interruption or unavailability;
  • indirect damages (loss of opportunity, local data loss, business loss, etc.);
  • inappropriate use of timers (safety, health, sport, cooking, etc.): tools are provided as is and do not replace professional or medical advice.

Site materials are protected (see also the legal notice).

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Courts are those stated in the legal notice, subject to mandatory consumer protections.
